Cuong lived in the United States, where she married in secret. To the surprise of Thuy Muoi his son introduces Jackie, a man, as his new wife, frustrating their dreams and expectations, from then on everyone will have to live on the same roof. But the mother-in-law will not make things easy, she will only accept the two living together if they fulfill a series of tasks established by her in the "Contract of Genro" created by her.
