Jonty Ross

Jonty Ross (3 wins, 18 nominations) started with creative journey as a performer, training under the renowned Nigel Mercier in the Limerick School of Acting and then later the Limerick Youth Theatre, where he was taught by the likes of Evan Kennedy, John Hogan, Stuart Mackey, Simon Thompson and Myles Breen. He is also making a name for himself as a fast growing writer & director, having already released over 18 short films, many of which came from under his film group, Visionary Films Ireland. As of 2025, Jonty is continuing to follow his filmmaking dreams, appearing as part of the cast for David Geelson’s upcoming feature film ‘One Night Only’. He is currently a member of both the National Young Filmmakers Council and the Emerging Limerick Filmmakers, run by Pete Moles.
