Storyline

Based on the story of the same name by A. Chekhov. On an inclement autumn evening, the doctor's young son died. A dead silence reigns in the house. But the landowner Abogin arrives and begs the doctor to come to his sick wife, who in the meantime leaves the house with her lover.
