The doctors' verdict at the medical examination is gloomy: if there were another war in Europe, we would be hopelessly lost. Daredevil "Rocky" and gentle Benjamin are really not fit for military service. Perhaps the boys will prove themselves in the old people's home. Sister Ellen turns the civilians' heads straight away, but the senior citizens of the Marienstift expect their full commitment. Hermann, in particular, gets them involved. The grumpy old man suspects that director Müller wants to convert the convent into a luxury home and make everyone homeless...
